XPAT Athens and First Aid Greece dispel the myths of first aid and teach you what to do in an emergency!

XPAT Athens

It is not a nice subject, but have you ever considered how you might cope if the worst should happen and a family member or a friend was injured in a serious accident? Ask yourself...

  • Do you feel confident that you know how to deal with injuries to ensure the best possible chance of survival and recovery?

  • Could you assess the scene for further dangers competently, think, and act quickly to ensure a better outcome?

  • Or are you hoping that an ambulance and paramedics will be available to take care of the situation?

The reality in Greece is that help probably will not arrive very quickly but you could dramatically improve a persons chance of survival by knowing how to react and deal with an incident. If someone has stopped breathing and you provide timely CPR you can extend the time window with which to keep them alive before professional help arrives. If you know how to use a AED you can restart a heart and maybe save a life.

95% of cardiac arrests are fatal, The British Heart Foundation and the American Heart Association believe that up to 200,000 more people could be saved annually if bystander CPR is given These are just a few of the skills you will learn on this very special first aid course.
